Dr. Rosenfeld is a fellow of the American College of Surgery, a Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is the current chairman of the Department of Surgery at Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA and has served as chairman for the last 12-plus years of the Ethics Committee at Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA. In addition to being a member of multiple medical societies, he served as Orthopaedic Surgeon for the USFL Philadelphia Stars football team and was a team physician at the 1984 Olympic Games. After completing his surgical internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland and his Orthopaedic Surgical Residence at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Rosenfeld served as a Major and Orthopaedic Surgeon in the United States Army.
